With a passion for technology and a degree in journalism, I began a career as an online marketer back in 1997. With an objective to promote ideas and organizations online, I started developing ideas about Internet PR and what would eventually be called Search Engine Optimization or SEO.
At that time, I created what would become the full-service Internet consulting agency Exposure.com. As founder, manager and consultant, I ultimately worked in Internet strategy, web development and web marketing helping many small and large businesses across a variety of industries.
After building Exposure for eight years, I made a move in late 2004. Since I hadn't set out to be a business manager, I jumped at the chance to concentrate on my core skillset in search engine marketing by joining Web Solutions, Inc. as the Director of Web Marketing services there.
In January 2007, I joined job search engine Indeed.com and perform In-house SEO/SEM as Online Marketing Manager for the search engine for jobs. Check out Indeed.com - one search, all jobs - for the best way to find jobs from job boards, newspapers, and company career sites across the web.
Indeed.com was named as one of the Top Ten websites of 2007 by Time magazine.
Job seeker traffic to Indeed.com continues to soar. Indeed is now and the global leader in job search with 15 million unique visitors per month in 12 countries.
My specialties: SEO, SEM, PPC, ROI analytics, Internet strategy.
